Question about quest items

I am trying to get characters through normal/nightmare faster. Can I mule off quest items and then grab them again and sort of make a bank of Khalim's will and horadric staves to move the game along faster?

Not sure if this is possible or if it is allowed. I have looked through most of the SPF rules and either missed it or it isn't there.

Thanks for any help.|||Im no expert but i THINK it's ok considering i have done it b4

(my old days but now i prefer to play it as it was intened and can even enjoy act 3 on occasion)

as long as you collect them all.

|||That will not work if you play patch 1.10 or newer; quest items can only be used in the same (or lower) difficulty that they were found in.|||It should still be possible (although I'm not sure if it's allowed) to take a high level character and just create a stash full of Normal Khalim's Flails, NM Flails, and Hell Flails.|||If it's ok to twink khalims will to pwn the blood moor it should be fine to use them as quest items

|||In the days of HF rushing, we used to do that a lot. You can play with 8 players and mule off the 6-7 items you don't need for future use.

Personally, I don't see the point of this when questing, but to each their own.

--Greebo|||Well NOBODY can honestly say that they enjoy running around the sewers and flayer dungeon can they?

of course this is just me

|||thanks for the replies so far. Is it okay to twink a horadric cube to a new character for use in ACT one? Also is it possible to carry multiple cubes?

Thanks|||1- you can twink the cube for sure

2- no all the quest items wont go onto a char more than once

this prevents poeple farming books of skill and making an uber character|||Quote:

This isn't quite true. You can twink another cube through gomule onto a character and thus have two in your inventory. However, both cubes open to the same page and thus you don't gain inventory space.
