RL: Mostly just lounging around. Did a bit of yard work this morning, need to do more, but my allergies said no. Not much else until church tonight, maybe try to keep the kids from killing each other.

RL: Bought 10 lamps for our new house today...still 17 to go...now I'll watch some movies with my wife on our new couch...it's so comfy

D2: Have thought about my 99er project...it'll be a Doom zerker axe wielding Paladin, probably with maxed Fana/Zeal/Sacrifice and synergised Holy Freeze aura (from Doom). Still optmising my gear though (Guillaume's vs. 1.07 Shako vs. Crown of Ages, 1.07 LoH vs. Dracul's, Highlord's Wrath vs. Atma's Scarab, T-God's vs. String of Ears...there are endless possibilities it seems). I'm open for suggestions!|||You don't need Atma's scarab, you would be better going pure HF zealot, with a powerful weapon you can still kill CIs. Charms give you plenty of attack rating, and decrepify is far more valuable to you than amp damage |||nah, I won't go pure HF zealot, because HF from Doom wouldn't stack with my own, so I'll be primarily a Fana Zealot with HF from Doom...so I rely heavily on physical damage, although I still do around 650 cold damage per hit (not considering the -55% cold resistance from Doom). You're right about Decrepify being more valuable than Amp Damage, but I never used Atma's Scarab and I'd be interested to see how well it works...oh, well - I think I'll just try different setups |||It's a good amulet, don't get me wrong... There's just better options

Still, all depends on your preferences in the end!|||I agree with V on the atma's. It's great when the ctc amp goes off, only the chance that it actually does is way to low. Getting a merc with reaper's would work much better.

Before giving any more advice it would be helpfull to know who you plan to run and what other gear you currently planned for the merc and yourself.
