Found this while pindle running. My knee jerk was to make Obedience out of this, but then I started reviewing my options (current and future):
Call to Arms
Destruction
Doom
Eternity
Honor
Obedience
I have the runes for Obedience and Honor right now, and a long ways away from the other ones. My mercs run with insight and Reaper's for the most part and for my MF runs they really do fine with these.
Is this weapon worth hanging onto for later in my D2 career when I can make higher level runewords....or by that time will I have a stash full of 5os eth pointy sticks to choose from and making obedience now won't really be that big of a deal.
Thanks for any thoughts|||The runes for Obedience and Honor are common, so go ahead and make whatever you want to make now. You could always clear the sockets if you really need the base in the future.|||Since Honor runes can be found running NM Countess, that may be your 'best' bet.
Best meaning 'easily' attainable runes. And I haven't read of anybody making their greater-words out of Great Poleaxes.
Hang on to it. Go ahead and make which ever you think will help you on your journeys more. You can always take the runes out of it. But, if you do that, and if you don't want it, and are FAM, I'll happily trade you a couple PGems for it!
edit ninja'd: Great minds think alike Kaerion!|||I didn't even think about clearing the sockets...thanks for the advice!|||The perfect base for a necro merc's Obedience ofc |||Personally, I'd make an Iron Golem out of Obedience made in it.|||Personally, I'd give it to Leharas and threaten to snatch it back of him and turn it into an obediance golem if he persisted in willfully wandering from the pack.*
*The excitement of MMORPG roleplay at no extra monthly cost. |||lol. If he does, fire him and hire one of the Wolfs!
