MFing in Chaos Sanctum

So, I'm in the mood of making some MFing area runs in the Chaos Sanctum with my Hammerdin. But what should I do? Should I kill only the superuniques and go to Diablo ASAP? Should I kill all boss packs? Go for a full clear?

Full clears are rarely optimal so don't waste time going after stragglers.|||Superuniques? If you mean the 3 seal packs, then their drop is nerfed, they cannot drop the most valuable items that a normal A85 pack can. Same goes for Diablo himself actually.

People run CS for items AND experience. It doesn't make sense to run it just for items, not compared to AT sorc or Pit Necro/Barb. It can come close because of monster density that CS offers, but that only works if, you know, you actually kill the monsters.

If you're purely after items (and don't care about experience) you might be better off killing just the bosspacks and skipping Seal bosses and D himself. Certainly not the other way round.|||I thought Big D could drop pretty much everything?|||Definitely not, Diablo is terrible for MFing.|||He can drop a lot of things but he drops too much rarely. Do not waste your time in CS, bosses in Act5 or MFing pit would be better.|||Thanks a lot for the responses, they were very helpful. I didn't know that Big D and the seal packs were so nerfed. It defeats the whole purpose of running CS for MFing IMO.

Back to Pindle, then :P.|||I really enjoy running CS. There is no travel time, there is great monster density, and the level of difficulty is high enough to keep it interesting. The seal packs and D himself are nerfed, but the other packs and uniques drop as well as they do in AT or the Pits. I've gotten great runes, charms, and S/U's from the CS. Its definitely in my MFing rotation...|||It depends on the character you use imo, running CS with a hammerdin is the quickest one. However, as greebo said running CS only for items is not worth it that much.|||Bonemancers would also be cool for MFing but they need FCR items to be effective.
