It is set within the first two acts of normal and Kurast port and can be run by specific MiniGrail characters or be contributed to by other characters passing through the MiniGrail zone further into the game. There are no restrictions on character class or skills, rerunning areas or use of mercenary. An act 3 mercenary can be recruited. Other act 3 vendors may be visited but any character leaving by the landwards exit of Kurast port must leave the tourney and his/her Grail items currently worn or carried in stash and inventory must be removed from the players MiniGrail.
There are no restrictions on rerunning areas and players may use any player setting at any time. It can be played in softcore or hardcore modes and RWM is allowed. Grail items, other items and money found by one character in the tournament may not be transferred to another.

Only one of each item counts for the MiniGrail but those items worn and carried in stash or inventory count towards the MiniGrail.
The Tourney winner is the first to get all 122 items.
However players may continue playing to improve the quality of their MiniGrail. Many of the items have variance in their statistics and this is shown in the set/unique and total columns.
Items with no variable statistics score 1 point.
Items with 1 perfect variable statistic score 2 points.
Items with 2 perfect variable statistics score 3 points etc.
Ethereal items score double points.
Items of completed sets score double points.
Examples
A 15 Nagel with 50 AR and 20 mf scores 1 point, a Duskdeep with 50% ED and +20 defence scores 3, a perfect ethereal Maelstrom scores 10 and a perfect Artic Furs in a completed set scores 4.
Persistent or lucky gambling may very occasionally result in acquiring other set or unique items that cannot drop in the 2 acts. All such items are worthy of mention and they will increase the set/unique/total scores but will not count towards the MiniGrail which can never exceed 122. Ethereal unique items cannot be gambled but some of these additional gambled set items may complete sets marked (NC) in the list above for extra bonus points.
Good Hunting!

Forum Name Character Class/Type/Level Set Unique Total MiniGrail|||This sounds cool, but any chance you could provide the list of sets & uniques which are obtainable in normal act 1 and 2?|||I will definitely join! just have to think of a build maybe a tele'ing sorc dumping points into energy? or a vigor paladin?

I would also love to see that list locohead is talking about.|||ATMA and GoMule muling programs both have associated drop calculators
http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...d.php?t=760286
On top of this gambling will make other items available.
http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Base_Item_Levels|||I know about the drop calculators
However, it would be nice if somebody made a spreadsheet or so over the obtainable items.|||Am I safe in assuming that Duriel (mlvl22) is the highest available mlvl through act 2? If so, his drops could be used as the basis for the list, and I count 54 unique and 47 set.|||Quote:

A spreadsheet would be an excellent idea for keeping tabs on the Grail and the various points scored.

There are other creatures who can drop items which Duriel cannot. |||Quote:

I would gladly make such a sheet, but I'm really not into game mechanics and stuff, so if somebody would either explain to me how I find out what items that can be obtained or give me a list of them it would be great.
However, the latter would be the best, as I atm only can acces the internetz from my work, where I obviously haven't got any muling applications installed |||I will take part in this. I'd like to see what level I could grind up to just in the first two acts.
I thought between my favourite char of a Barb, Holy Fire Pally or a.. Fissure Druid!
Character: Lava (HC) Druid
I haven't taken part in a "grail" before, so I hope to learn from it. I think it only being Act 1 and 2 is a good grail to participate in just to learn and experience what exactly it is. |||Sorry I couldn't edit. But may i ask when can we post? I just finished clearing everything throughout Den/Blood Raven and Cain. Moving towards going to the Black Marsh to meet the Countess!
First chest I popped was nice, rare boots with armor. Found a crapload of throwing knives which well for 480 gold per. Sitting at Level 14 at the moment: here. Wish I made a summoner necro, magic preserver head in that s/s is pretty nice for low lvl
Edit: Will plan to farm for Tal and Eth for Stealth off Countess.
Edit2: First run and voila, Tal
Edit 3, I did Malus for Imbue and i got this Pelt!!!... i am in awe at the moment... lol now im definately not regretting going fissure!
