You didn't really think that was the last one did you?
This one is just a quick one, kinda based on my personal story, and triggered by an upcoming date and a comment by Kestegs, which I doubt he imagined would mean so much.
Without going into too much detail, my life has never been a straight line, and I've never really started a week expecting to make the end of it. **** has been crazy, and for years I've been close to death and for most of my life I've been unable to get close to people, I've been violent and defensive towards them for fear of being hurt.
Some time next week, I'm going on a date with a cute girl I met 4 days ago. Y'know what? I feel fine around her. Much unexpected. My feelings towards my job have gotten a lot more positive recently too, and I'm working really hard on my anger and stuff. All in the space of a few weeks.
Ladies and Gentlmen, Virgait's Positive Thinking Campaign (and ****), finishes with a message;
Life is never a straight line, but it doesn't mean you have to lose control on every corner. It took me a long time to realise that, many of you probably have already, some of you perhaps haven't. Either way, I hope you do.
If life seems negative, don't worry, atleast you're alive. Some people don't get to realise it in time.
Keep on rocking SPF, we're all Kings in this kingdom
Ceiling Cat's PTC, bowing out |||I'm glad things are starting to turn around for you virgi!
Thanks for always trying to keep us thinking positive |||Nice, here's to your newly found hapiness! |||Wish you the best of luck man, i've overcome some severe depression from the past couple years. I hid it from my friends and family which only made it worse. Having thoughts and plans of really bad things to do to myself wasn't normal.. especially becuase I was only 16 when it started. I'm 19 now and I got the help I needed after I went to my parents for help.
I hope you take the steps to happiness as I did! |||Hear, hear! Great news, Virgait!
You know a trick I've used to stay optimistic... always have something you are looking forward to, and dwell on that instead of things that bring you down. For me, I actually use my D2 projects as things I think about to keep me in good spirits.
