Should I keep Mephing?

I've done 2,050 Meph runs.. I feel like I've gotten most of what Meph can offer.. but before I deleted my seed I was wondering what your opinions would be on if I should stay or should I go.

The only reason I ask is that another sorc I was reading about on here did 4,000 runs and got 87% of the items.. I'm only at 2,000 and I feel like I've gotten almost everything out of Meph. And that's a huge difference for it to just be variance.

While you're at Pindle, if (blizz soso?) you can handle it well, go ahead and run the two guys at the first WP in act 5.(They can drop good stuff, right?)|||I'd say that really depends on your motive to run him in the first place. Are you trying to gear up your sorc or some other character. Maybe you're looking for a specific piece of equipment. Or are you trying to get as much of the grail as possible?

So in short: to get a good answer we need to know why you're running him (or considering running something else).|||Thing is the most important item with TC<72 he is missing is Arach Mesh, and Pindle can't drop it. I would mix things up with Pindle and don't re-roll that seed yet. Unless you are really desperate for runes to roll a LK map.|||Quote:

About the spirit sword... I've been looking for both a 4socket shield and 4 socket sword forrrrreeeevvverrrr. And i haven't picked one up. hahaha. I even devoted about 20-25 cow runs in NM before moving into hell for it. (and I also have a 70ish assassin who has been looking for both also! bahh)|||That's a bit surprising on the sword part! You can always use the cube recipe on a white one.



The shied will have to be a monarch or aegis type, they are the only ones that can get 4 sockets besides paladin shields.|||BTW, what is Grailing? I googled a little bit and it seems like it's collecting every item in the game? If i'm wrong please correct me!

If that's what it means then yeah I suppose that's what I'm trying to do. I'm mainly just trying to have the gear I'll eventually want for other characters that I roll in the future. But trying to do it in the most efficient way possible.

Also.. I do have an Arachnid Mesh.. I just double checked my stash. I dunno why it's not showing on my Flavie report. I got it a while back.|||Yes, that is grailing.

Meph can't drop a few of the really good items, that's why most people don't stay there too long.
